like clothing or furniture and then one Productions go in there list all the criteria that they're looking for in a sec I'm looking for a car that this make and model are looking for an actor this these ones were talking to now and he was like the put on patrol there's going to be so many like it's full-blown toxic masculinity but just so many tough guy tough guy jibs and Jabs no verbal like sparring back ice skating uphill though it's hard to be audio Wilson has a lot of good quips okay the the one fact I didn't share is that Guillermo del Toro what's very upset a little or a lot of the dialogue in this movie ride it so there's going to be some real real winners of dialogue blackout 4 but I predict inet enjoyment I feel time but then that's going to be Mazda experience yes movie will quite a hundred percent there yet you can see them being like oh look at this crazy s*** we can do if we replace him with CG for a couple of shots it's really interesting to see you like the that I guess not your blood's not read a Sci-Fi TV at is the vampire headquarters is also the headquarters of the slowest closing doors ever white drawbridge the drawbridge door the elevator doors I was like all right I will say so I just wood frog and it was so cool to see this boot cuz the whole thing takes place in Prague I've been to some of the places in this movie I was like holy s*** I recognize that and I recognize this and then in the vampire layer in the background like on the wall they had like a version of the astronomical clock which prague-prague is like famous or it's like the Old Clock the super super old it still works which is not but I thought it was like kind of neat like the little set design touches like for some reason people in progress speaking English when they die I mean I was not in frog not a frog you were very very little it's checks I know how I can order a beer and check and then sent you cuz I know I didn't learn anything that I tried how do you say one beer please and thank you and that's it that's all you need is awesome one beer please thank you maybe you were putting off the wrong vibe in Prague like when me and Sam went to France and she was like I'm going to speak France French and then everybody was like nearing at her and I was like yo I don't speak French and everyone's like whatever you know what I mean they were nice yeah they were nice in like the touristy area but then we like went up into Walmart audio and the Americans we are just be placed. your accent actually pretty good there is an unsaved Tarzana 4 years of French and this is what I am right ear and all the French listeners are like who you f*** that they're all staring at you cast members of beautiful heart art history like stuff architecture Prague I couldn't tell you one of those things I can't remember much of bars though Prague is the home of Luca my favorite artist I want to go so bad Prague Oklahoma fragua speaking of if this movie takes place there how is his lair also there I assume that they travel I was wondering how they when they first came they got a helicopter and they went and then like I guess then what was the next day they were back I don't know now I think I think Whistler was in Prague after Whistler so they moved him to Prague it would eventually blade would find them in Prague what did they like go back to their like lair audio blades that are in projects He has all of this insane Hi-Tech gears in Twilight play don't ask how stuff gets paid for it movie he just has multiple layers are all the vampires they like and benefits Valerie in movies right is like I would love to do a comic or book or show it's like HR henchman resources and it's like Venture Brothers weather to do a deeper dive on that I'm talking about that while they were sticking the cameras all around the nightclub and that is not high enough for someone not to notice or like him I guess the house of pain and people are like being like like-for-like blade base right is like what like these massive massive like guns assault weapons and no no one questions and until they started shooting and then everyone starts running what was your plot what the f*** it was less of what the fight because they win really out of there way to explain it Then I then I remembered it being but there were several other more what the f*** went it was just the fact that Whistler is back they made a real big thing of that I wrote it down I do not like that the cheapest it did it cheapens there's no wait anymore cuz I don't remember it was a flashback supposed to be he's definitely that audio is it cool no heat what they say is like I'll be here already turned kind of so the gun that killed yeah but he shot himself or the gun specifically designed to kill vampires in the in the head it would be my assumption audio he was cured yeah I don't I don't know waiting for the end of the first blade movie and he was like to the kisses his it was basically Whistler blade and she was helping them Jim and I know she has a key or she creates a cure at the end but he's like keep it just make me a stronger syrup because I have work to do so like myquest the vampires they have no guns but they are they have regular bullets in the gun I don't know why cuz you're okay but like know they were humans audio just all of the all of the vampires in this movie had guns vampire killing bullets cuz most of the people they interact with her vampires how far is his buddies silver lab I thought that to his like why don't they have vampire killing boars no vampire crime I just need to protect themselves from them pesky humans that come in there's never been like a vampire who was just going around like robbing other vampires of their other vampire Goods what what is vampire gives consistent I imagine that they really nice toothbrushes audio that's I mean number one there is the point where he talks about like rope for will go out in the daylight and they're like we can't do that you know that kills us to like they they seemed very like anti having anything to do with daylight the main villain in the first movie was totally fine going out in the daylight cuz he put on like ignoring all of this everything about the first movie he makes the sun tan lotion joke take it in the clothing Alzheimer's throwing like they do in the first movie Tron motorcycle helmets Ron Perlman burnout tropical vampires walking around like the big Panama hats audio I need vampires on the beach I was I was confused a little bit about what was the villain's name I can't remember mosquitoes or no know yet no Max no Max what was his purpose what was he trying to do I mean want to Revenge the revenge and then why are they fighting I don't understand at the very beginning he was like is the enemy of my enemy my enemy or my friend and I was like why aren't you why isn't blade working with this guy living like like like mr. porcelain was saying he was saying that it's all the vampires and he'll start coming after humans so that's what I assumed that What's blades reasoning for or wanting to defeat him but I don't know their alliances like shifted halfway through the movie and then they were like kind of on the same side how do you find out where the weather dim was the headquarters I think there was a thing in the first movie where blade they were tracking blade cuz he's got some sort of chap they did not reference it but he did have that the lawyer guy was like he's like a he doesn't know where it is and then blame it right yes he does audio who is in the who is in the building audio getting beat up in Vampire embryos yeah that's like 45 minutes I kind of watch this movie again with commentary trivia in this has had many good things to say about screenwriter David S goyer SM groan-inducing dialogue I mean it was not great dialogue it was very expositional you can see it's interesting cuz like this doesn't feel like a Guillermo Del Toro movie he can see his influence and like some of the set design I mean slightly but it's like not Dino like it's not like full-blown you can see that he was like restraint audio it's kind of like knowing that Mike mignola was one of the people on this it kind of felt like a lot of Mike mignola okay interesting is it that this full body skin suits in like everybody's that was exactly the Hellboy Vibe for for the first half of the movie I like the everybody had the the goggles that like open and closed with irises someone's very specifically aesthetic there's a say in this movie that light can't pass through water cuz she like audio I guess he said phosphorus so is turning light into a it's going around corners in Spanish the water thing actually less than a foot of water will block call like almost a hundred percent of UV rays being underwater is actually the light bulb you showed us science but I've been to Hawaii and I can see the bottom of the ocean and the light is reaching the dangerous UV rays not light otherwise they have to be in complete darkness it couldn't have the light bulb but the part that doesn't like going around the corners is like what fish the part that doesn't make any sense to me through the light bomb and was counting down at all of the vampires were underwater and then I was like audio oh yeah there's a sword under the water is that how you lured them why did they just bite him cuz his legs are also under the way was it a movement thing because the the other two got really far into the water before they jumped up I mean that just felt like the look of that reminded me and I have a gut feeling this is exactly what they were thinking if you've ever been on a boat at night to see the Flying Fish and you see if you shine a light in the water that makes them jump out of the water and the way they've jumped but I know they're not fish but the way they jump out of the water when the lights a was that's how it looks oh yeah was a piranha right coronavirus you just turn into a half piranha he didn't need to like I mean it was very cool the sword thing but like wrinkled they needed is when he was f****** with Rinehart and doing it like knife flip and slapping him I like that alot another another crazy plot hole this one is not really Powell just more of a I think maybe they're all dumb why do they even go into the sewers with guns why don't you just take flashlights why bother when they already know that I am still work to use the bullets to push them back and then use the grenades to kill him I guess but they could have just had flashlight very small light imagine imagine like an M16 in the whole Barrel or like it's just like Fallout the big light directly ahead of you keep in front of you audio how about you dressed all in clothing like completely cover themselves head to toe and body armor that the guards I like the vampire headquarters were wearing we're going into the sewers and get the the light Hammer dude with his harness and nothing else Anna really throw away fashion that the guards were human tires so why wouldn't they still just like if I might be special bodyarmor it was it was special audio so when I first hooked up with this is why they wanted to erase the first movie because in the first movie giant flashlight torches remember that the big giant I just have like a car battery with a UV light on the front just have that thing someone behind you this wasn't a cell phone problem but with blade like call when you can't do any of this cuz we solved it all in the first movie well that's why I thought maybe people won't remember I was like how could there be a third because like he killed vampires and he killed weird face vampire what do you want to know you know I don't know if I did we're going to find out just say one word I mean you find out real fast but okay most famous vampire of all time Dracula what oh my God but okay audio heading home Drake oh no not going to say who played address the elephant in the room here which is that this movie stole an awful lot from True Blood audio it has Norman Reedus and then he kills the guy in the like jerk-off room just like Boondocks faves and I was like this is weird this feels weird audio audio 1999's Boondock Saints oh yeah tell us more about how it's all jokes aside you can definitely see how this movie influence like vampire movies in Vampire content cuz it made them really edgy and like sexy aliens Lake kind of violet I haven't seen ultraviolet I remember that movie it's so bad for hair color Square sword I was at her bracelet is also a credit card that were thinking about this movie that I do I just remember her for some reason they're very similar they're damaged instead of like are you like I was like but why well I mean even the basis of their whole thing or she's like I've come to peace with what I am and it's like that's literally the whole point of blades existence is because don't remember how this works vampire can and you follow I put wiper blade right in that people do sir in the first movie and I didn't kill him it was just faking his blood they did everything in the first movie is if I forgot about that they tried to steal his blood they just squeeze the juice out of them I am so uncomfortable right now they don't try to steal his blood the new hot trend audio I didn't believe that was a pool of bloody jumped into the viscosity was all wrong audio audio all I thought about looking at though is how many people would it take to fill that thing up oh yeah well I kept thinking about what he gets out and he like opens his eyes and it's like running down his face smells like that must have f****** hurt whatever dies in that s*** is like in your eye Kool-Aid it's Kool-Aid is coolant always drink but yes totally agree Trophy and Forest house early in the Final Cut we see like there really isn't there like lyrics I'm sorry yeah I guess there is there was like virgins were I was a little more explicit I mean I think it works but I don't think it would be necessary for it with a man that's why they cut it out but audio I wasn't like who I want them to get together deeper dive down that and have maybe some more conversation with them between the two of them about like this kind of an ideological split where she's like I was born that like this is who I am dln like you look at this all like where these f****** Abomination monsters but so what am I supposed to do just like die I was born and not have a life like you can go down around have that naked atonic affection and respect for each other which would have made more sense for him yeah like he just he just like jumps to like caring about her too fast like when they're in the sewer and he's like he's like oh no Nessa but he doesn't yet he doesn't mention the other guy that's with her he doesn't give a f*** about that it's it's the it's the only female in the universe because it doesn't pass the bechdel test is that what you're saying here oh yeah she was the only female remember me was received it's all it's all her like screen time does revolving around him was pretty badass but she was like I will kill you and go down with you that was kind of cool was that the intention though cuz you just look scared then I was like sunlight and then I'm dead and then he's dead and that's it yeah yeah I was like of course they made the only one of these assassins that trained for years to fight blade the only one that got afraid of anything was the woman great job you know us women and I know it's because it's because it was the the man that she loved not because she was just afraid he was afraid of him and that's what they're going with that's our story I'm going to be the Negative Nancy I didn't like this movie very much to be honest audio what are the things I really love about blade 1 is I like seeing him Kick-Ass by himself I wasn't really into him having this like crew running with him like one thing that I like about like you liking him to Batman earlier Pat like I I can see that like similarity and it's like you don't want to see Pat Batman running around with like a bunch of other people like you like see Batman stocking by himself in like hunting and stuff like that and so it just kind of I don't know I wasn't digging that vibe the plot just felt like really Trophy and kind of almost too simple it was like we just need to get this guy and now we're going to backstab you said that we would and you know it's like okay like with no depth and I just felt like it was missing like the coolest that you got in the first one and I also felt like it was like I was kind of disappointed by the soundtrack it seemed like they back on the Techno and they kind of did didn't use like as many like recognizable techno songs and instead they're like score something that sounds like electronic music what is an actual like Crystal Method Song audio they didn't give any of the songs room like in the very much had a scene where like the dialogue dropped out in the song got brought to the top of the mix Landrum the scene and I was kind of missing that from this yeah absolutely, a couple of times the song that played in the credits also played for their their slo-mo walk into the club oh yeah yeah so I don't know I just know I wasn't I wouldn't know none of us got out none of it yet none of it was like man that songs awesome and I'm so excited that it like just kicked in or whatever I just felt very basic all the same do they play Sandstorm in the first movie or something I know but they did play Crystal Method Song there are a few tracks yeah it's called The Blood Rave or visit but it's like the Whatever the song In The Blood Rave is pretty awesome husband Crystal Method Song what is like the yeah like the the music in Blade 1 is legitimate like electronic techno music of the era versus this was just like we'll just you know compose stuff instead of using real songs this was post post Matrix electron yeah yeah it was crystal method more like rap with some electronic beats in the background then like really electronic which it was fine with but then like a lot of the songs they added like grunge guitar to it which just didn't say in my mind I've been corrected it was Voodoo and Voodoo and Serano blood is pumping sorry the the electronic expert in the room next to me is correct I love the accent or own her own personal Booth you know like for recording like Ariel Israel podcast check on that order to keep the conversation going and you just you got your own one man audio audio are off screen for all of our recording don't know now I know is cuz you just talk to him I'm saying every single time all the time but usually cook with his computer ready to do the research he's ready yeah it like new order was one of the songs Creedence Clearwater Revival in the original soundtrack I had some good s*** man that's not techno sounds like old fogey Rock but like I mean I'm just saying like a junkie XL like they had some good music in the original A10 like they dropped the ball with this left yeah man there old school I got introduced to junkie XL for the Batman v Superman score audio I haven't listened to them in a long time audio yeah I've heard there's not much going on about that's my two cents II I feel like the was laughing a lot of the charm of the first one the action sequences for a Phenom weather near me I enjoyed it felt slower than the first one and a little harder to follow plot-wise is it was very dialogue-driven you're not a lot actually happen yeah it was like a lot of running around and shooting guns and then your thumb fight scene and then you're just like audio I wish like I said you were talking about like audio time for the score to kind of carry the way I really mystocks I really like that in the first one I agree with a shovel same Blade fight on his own but not as much as the first one so I think I'm with Pat I've been that positive but still enjoyable audio Irving overall I enjoy it like you guys have the Bisons are pretty glasses overall as a movie for me it held up just in general just like the look of it and like I said there was some weird transitions just like the way it was come together in the movie as a whole I think held up better than a lot of movies from the early audio it's so weird I don't know about condition myself or just been conditioned to like look for people of color in movies even though the lead is a person of color three black people total just like man that's really how it was in the early 2000s but that was when I was looking up the the trivia for this I noticed that too because I think had way more then this one yeah it was it was blade it was Bonanza guy and then I Espada like one other guy like in the club scene and then I was I was at audio yeah frog is awfully white though but I know that it wasn't until you said that where the movie was that but yeah I think that they couldn't cast vampire doesn't mean it could have cashed International vampire team exactly so International Danny Danny food had no lines who did not speak at all in this entire list he said he was too busy choreographing to fight scenes to learn lines audio I enjoyed it overall the flaws are all there I still like the Blade movies in general they selling their phone even the third one is I still I still it doesn't bore me or upset me but there's a menu any many many many flaws with it name of this stuff we talked about could have been there it was just it was like so much happened and not enough happened but nothing happened also at the same time Del Toro ride it instead of the other guy like the underlying through-line could be interesting words like the Vampire Nation has been experimenting with their genome sequence to try like improve themselves and try and maybe get Beyblade that I get be able to walk in daylight and lose all their weaknesses and stuff they did it on is really weird he was his son you didn't act like they really knew each other nomak in this, he created him but he considered him a son yeah yeah like he's like a clone yeah like he's that he's he said when he was when he was taking it realized he was like he was the first failure but then in time kalama somebody like a clone I feel like the only one concept could have done well worth I see your point and like Blade versus like a bunch of vampires is is cooler and better and he still have that but if they done if they weren't more interesting if it wasn't so we hate each other NeverEnding the f****** like City Commons I mean even better word like we will probably have a mutual problem give this thing it's like us to take a virus but it's also like uncontrollably keeps spreading and infecting people and like they could go to a remote the guys movie consolidating Power nomac in like a remote Village somewhere give a little journey and if they go somewhere together entire Village or something has been converted into these things and if they do have to work together legitimately and then like I mean breath real amoeba like this is what I got to do is just the way my brain works and then you can still have a third act with a betrayal of course right at the end and stuff the underlying concept could work and been really good it just felt like they were just trying to almost like they were they were working backwards from set-pieces and it was like the house of pain like a torture Rave place that did not that didn't do anything for the plot that just seemed like it was an idea somebody had and it's like is forces in there but it added nothing actual plot and stuff so what did they really I mean they went in there looking they went in there not knowing that that's where they were going to be first of all cuz he was just like we start with all the other places and she was like that just happens to be the one that they're at audio they went in there they realized that they can only kill these things with with UV light and two of them got killed one of them was turned in the other yeah I think you're right she's at like a set like a change of location The Rave the vampire like to the tunnels still looks the same I also felt like the same place and it would have made more sense for they come up with the light grenades cuz it was almost like kind of Scrappy and they're being resourceful Best Western Sky audio they didn't need to be Scrappy they literally have is Vampire Nation there in their backyard with this organization that is what in the trillions of dollars of resources probably it looks like maybe one of the large garage trying to Jerry Reed together some like grenades call what might be the largest conglomeration of them in the entire world be like hey get some gear that focuses on the light show what I had to get out of there and let them down and they were like a more remote location like f*** light kills them what do we got okay we got these things what can we do if we can make a little grenades out of cool they look really high-tech for something that they just threw together in their garage and then he's like and then he's out in the in the in the in the scrap yard looking for laying around or talking about the thing from the first movie that like basic a slight with the car battery or talking about like that would have been a more effective weapon than anything that came up with against these things audio questions they didn't want to ask is blade a secret billionaire you know if if the vampire Consortium is as powerful as they seem to be why did they need blade. Down one person would you guys buy a blade Brandon set of kitchen knives play blades words that go on the tips of my fingers like those bad guys had yeah I was like there's no way the needle fingers is an effective medical tool audio but I thought they I thought they they wanted where did they were just so they were trying to get him to hunt down Namek as well as stab him in the back or was stabbing him in the back kind of always the right yeah they were always planning to they wanted to capture to get no Mac cuz that's a loose ends to tie up and then of course you have blade in the palm of your hand right like Enemy Number One kill him cuz I was a two-for-one kind of thing two birds one blade you even had the opportunity again had the opportunity I didn't feel like he had enough incentive to join them I feel like f****** deal with it then then Goodluck Goodluck I'll f****** deal with it when it becomes my problem why would he sending on like towns killing a bunch of people to criminitly then you might be incentivized to be like look at this Village that he completely decimated these are dead or not turning to one of these always moving towards the other one audio I think that's a bridge too far for blade though cuz blade does not exist at the same world as 30 Days of Night there's no towns under vampire Siege in the world of play but there would be out of MREs Underground or like on a Mountaintop even if it was like even if it was even if it was at the point where he like where we saw the Namek attack the guy in the alley and then we had already had that yeah they showed they showed later like yeah here's him at the blood bank at he's like attacking people and is like there's only one of him at that point he hasn't like amass an army or anything and then he still wants to help them audio audio was it that positive for you bro I think this honestly it's not positive for me I had an anesthetic I think that's the thing is the Blade movies are in a large part of about the aesthetic and every set looking the same have the time and thus I was like what's reminding me of is how much worse movie Underworld audio where is just like and and a few other of those type of movies or shows like everything the lights are out no matter where we go no one has installed a light fixture and that was just kind of the vibe of this thing and that it's fine I noticed it while we were watching it appointed to that was like people don't make stuff like this anymore but I think it's more because digital photography these days than then just cuz there's a lot of really dark movies in the 90s early 2000s and then it kind of went to like digital dark like day for night find me everything father was like a good look blame it on his nipple suit damn bat nipples I don't like that put that one back in the hole it came from audio anyway so pictures of George Clooney Batman chest with #couple Jesus now that my overall impression of this film is less about how ridiculous it was cuz I know I like the first one so much is because it is the whole plot everything about blade is just batshit insane the fights the way they could be the first one was like we we have syringe gun needles of juice at the vampires and then it's going to make them explode like its it was ridiculous but what I remember during the first movie family or sitting on the couch just like freaking out just like oh my God amazing I didn't have one of those moments yammy 211 Outburst of Akira movie toy that was the first blade so I think it's just not as good of a movie it was still very enjoyable and the action sequences Teague Ford sample the fondue thinks that you like fondue is this movie cheese I'm into it was good it was fun I just would probably rather watch the first one again this one I will say I think Phil Tippett did great work as always 54 mm audio will like that was the blending of the 3D into the 2D like the times when it worked it worked really well and that was the stuff Empire disintegrated I thought that it looked like obvious CJ but it was stylized so it look cool it wasn't trying to look like Photo realistic video game yeah photo reference of a vampire dissolving we need to bring this to like a realist totally something I would have had just looked up cats broke broken over there is many bad puns that say on the show you have no idea how many I keep to myself yeah I let him out if you bottle up too many times you will die audio them's the rules that was laid to everyone that was a lot of fun.
